OzFDM PETG-CF reinforces easy-printing PETG with carbon fibre for a stiffer, stronger, dimensionally stable result and a handsome matte finish. It keeps PETG's chemical and moisture resistance while adding the rigidity engineering parts demand, giving you most of PETG's forgiving printing behaviour with a genuine step up in mechanical performance.
With a tight 1.75mm tolerance of ±0.05mm on a 1KG spool, it suits engineering, automotive and industrial jobs where consistent diameter matters for extrusion accuracy: brackets, mounts, structural fixtures, jigs and enclosures that need to hold flat surfaces and tight-fitting features. The matte carbon finish also reads as a deliberately technical, professional surface rather than a glossy consumer one, which suits functional and engineering-facing parts well.
Because it's still a PETG at heart, it's noticeably friendlier to print than a nylon- or polycarbonate-based carbon-fibre material - no enclosure or annealing step required, just sensible bed prep and a fan setting tuned down from what you'd run on PLA. Fit a hardened nozzle before you start, since the carbon fibre is abrasive and will wear a brass nozzle faster than plain PETG would. It's available in carbon black plus several tinted carbon shades.
- Nozzle temperature: 230-250°C (240°C recommended)
