ASA Sparkling brings a fleck of glitter to OzFDM's toughest weatherproof filament. You get the same high-grade ASA base, with its strong UV resistance and impact strength, finished with a subtle sparkle that lifts decorative and outdoor pieces alike, so a garden ornament or badge does not have to look purely utilitarian.

Because it is built on ASA, prints stand up to sun, rain and temperature changes, so garden ornaments, badges, letterbox numbers and exterior trim keep their look for the long haul rather than fading or yellowing after a season outside. It suits decorative pieces just as well as functional outdoor parts where you would still like a touch of sparkle under sunlight or porch lighting, and it holds its shimmer just as well indoors on shelving or display pieces.

Eight sparkling colours are available; print in a ventilated enclosure for best results, and give the chamber time to stabilise before a tall or wide part, the same warping precautions as standard ASA. Since the glitter adds a slight texture to the filament, some makers find a touch more first-layer care and slightly slower outer walls help adhesion and surface finish.
