OzFDM ASA-GF blends glass fibre into weather-resistant ASA for parts that stay stiff, stable and ready for the outdoors. The fibre reinforcement boosts rigidity and helps hold fine tolerances, while the ASA base brings the UV and weather resistance ASA is prized for.

It is a smart pick for functional brackets, mounts and exterior components that need to keep their shape under load and sunlight: mounting brackets for outdoor equipment, sign frames, and structural fittings that would sag or creep over time in a standard ASA or ABS. The added stiffness also helps parts hold flat, true surfaces on wide or thin-walled prints that might otherwise bow.

Available in Natural and Black; a wear-resistant nozzle is recommended for glass-filled materials, since the fibre content is more abrasive on a standard brass nozzle than unfilled ASA. As with other ASA grades, print in an enclosed, well-ventilated enclosure and check your slicer's recommended profile for a glass-fibre material before a long run.
