1.75 mm ABS+ Sparkling Filament - 1 KG

All the easy-printing toughness of OzFDM ABS+, now with a built-in shimmer. ABS+ Sparkling weaves fine glitter through the material for prints that catch the light, without giving up the strength and impact resistance ABS is known for, so a display piece is not sacrificing durability for looks.

Where it shines

Think cosplay props and armour pieces, decorative homewares, gift and display pieces, or any functional part where you would still like a bit of visual flair; badge holders, keyrings and desk ornaments all show the glitter off well under normal room lighting, and the shimmer reads a little differently depending on which base colour it is mixed into.

Like our standard ABS+, it is formulated to reduce warping and cracking for smoother, more reliable prints, and is largely acetone resistant (use SciGrip Weld-On 16 to bond parts rather than acetone). Available in five glitter shades, best printed in a ventilated enclosure, and since the glitter particles can add a small amount of texture, some makers prefer a slightly lower first-layer speed and a touch more cooling to help it stick cleanly to the bed and keep fine detail crisp.
