OzFDM ABS-GF reinforces classic ABS with glass fibre, adding rigidity and dimensional stability for parts that need to hold their shape under load. The fibre content also helps tame warping, so large, flat prints stay truer through the build.

It is a great choice for jigs, brackets, housings and functional engineering parts where stiffness matters more than a glossy surface: mounting plates, fixtures and structural brackets that need to resist flex rather than look polished. The added rigidity also makes it a sensible option for parts that carry a load across a span, where a standard ABS print might sag or bow over time.

Available in Black and Natural, and best printed in an enclosed, well-ventilated enclosure. Because glass-filled filaments are more abrasive than standard ABS, a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle will hold its bore longer than a standard brass one, and it is worth checking your slicer's recommended profile for a glass-fibre ABS before starting a big print.
