OzFDM PETG Basic is the everyday, value-priced option for anyone who wants PETG's trademark strength, slight flex and water resistance without paying a premium. It is built to be a dependable daily driver rather than a specialty material, so you can print functional parts with confidence and keep the good stuff in reserve for jobs that really need it.

It earns its keep on brackets, storage containers, outdoor fittings, tool holders and general-purpose prototypes, tougher and more weather-tolerant than PLA without needing ABS-level heat resistance. Because it comes in such a broad colour range, it also suits multi-part assemblies or colour-coded organisation systems.

PETG likes a slightly hotter nozzle and a touch less cooling than PLA, and it is more prone to stringing if the temperature runs too high, so dial in retraction and temperature using your slicer's PETG profile as a starting point. Keeping the spool dry between prints will noticeably improve surface finish and reduce the wispy strings PETG can leave between features.
